Recipe: Chocolate Biscuit Cake

Cooking Method

Place 1 packet of unsalted butter into a low heat pot

Add full tin of golden syrup

Add 400g of cooking chocolate

Break up 2 packets of digestive biscuits into the mix

Place a sheet of grease proof paper onto a flat tray

Scoop the mixuture onto the grease proof paper and flatten out to 1 inch or whatever height you would like

To get that festive feel, use a star cutter to cut out the shapes and place on a separate grease proof sheet on a plate

Do your cutting while the mix is still warm so that you can mix the end bits together and start cutting again

To finish, sprinkle with ground almons or cocunut or silver balls!


1lb of unsalted butter

1 tin of maple syrup

400g of cooking chocolate

2 packets of digestive biscuits

Coconut (optional for finish)

Ground Almonds (optional for finish)

Silver balls (optional for finish)

Or even marshmallows... whatever you like!
