For those who don't know our history. EJ’s was established over 100 years ago as a public house run by members of the King family and has dominated the corner of Clifden's Main Street and Market Street ever since . A magnet for writers, artists, film-makers and naturalists, Clifden enjoys an international reputation for excellent food, drink and good cheer and EJs is no exception! Offering a range of dining experiences, Ej’s can be the ideal venue for a quiet leisurely drink,or a cosy lunch before exploring the many attractions of Connemara and finish the day with an intimate dinner followed by a lively music session amongst friends.

Friendly and tasty food

While I worked in Recess for a period of time I have been to EJs on a number of times (mainly for beers) I have eaten there a number of times and the barfood is quite good, Irish stew, Fish & Chips and the odd special I will say that ... Read more...

Best pub !

Fantastic pub with great staff, great food and a great athmosphere. Had a surprise party there for husbands 60th and everyone was so helpful , nothing too much trouble. Great pub ! Read more...
